Practical Consent

To know what other people want is hard, to know what we want is also hard, then to communicate what we want is even harder and to say and say no is not easy either. In other words, consent is hard for everyone and is something we all need to work on. In this workshop we reflect over different ways of approaching consent. We use the model “The wheel of Consent “™ by Betty Martin that support us to ask for what we truly want and learn how to set and respect boundaries. She adds the question “who is it for” which invites us to a deeper reflection about being true to ourselves why we do different things. In this workshop we explore practical consent through talk, reflection and non sexual touch. This is a workshop that can be held at events, companies, organisations or festivals. Anywhere where consent is a hot topic this workshop is a useful tool.
